You hear me share my personal experiences when it comes to make money online. I grew to understand the importance of not only choosing a path that I had interest in, but also taking the time to learn about that particular field.
I Jumped Head First without Thinking
A few years back when I decided that I would try to create a passive income for myself, I jumped head first in all those awesome sounding 6 figure income opportunities. I’ve signed up on so many sites and made dozens of accounts that to this day are still on the web. If you were to Google one of my usernames, ksmm101, you would find dozens of profile stretching for pages. I was so eager to make money that I would just dive into things without thinking. I had the drive and determination but I lacked the knowledge. Needless to say I have lost more money than I have made. Most people would have drawn the line there and just called it quits but I knew that there was money to be made online; I just didn’t know how.
From those experiences I realized is that in order to make money I would have to educate myself first. I started reading up on SEO and constantly looking for different ways to make a buck. Due to my brother’s interest in poetry and my new found knowledge, we have managed to run a successful poetry blog.
I have tried and failed numerous of times trying to make some money where others succeeded, not because I was dumb, lazy, nor anything of that nature; I was just uneducated and had no prior knowledge of the field I chose.
What I Have Learned
I really can’t stress enough the importance of choosing a path that interests you.
When it comes to making money online, it tends to be a long empty road that may take months to reach the highway where you get to see traffic, let alone start making money.
With that being said, if the subject doesn’t interest you, you may never get to see your first pay check as you may never reach the highway when it’s far far away.
In the beginning, chances are that you will make enough to put gas in your car for a day or two, but you have to constantly put gas in your car until you reach the highway and this lengthy road trip requires a lot of hard work. This is why I say that choosing a path that interests you is important.
Learning from my mistakes, choosing a path you might be interested in and educating yourself may save you both time and money. There are so many ways to make money online, freelance, affiliate programs; the list goes on and on. But I guarantee you, whatever path you take, it will require you to be educated on the topic and have interested in it in order to make money online. The road to success is a bumpy one that can knock you off the track if you don’t know what you are doing. So make sure that you educate yourself and pick something that you might be interested in.
